Role Overview
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the café.
The work covers dining areas, kitchen support areas, washrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dining areas, tables, chairs, floors, and other surfaces.
- Maintain washrooms and common areas.
- Clean kitchen floors, walls, and designated areas.
- Handle and dispose of waste properly.
- Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies when required.
- Follow cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
- Report maintenance, damage, or hygiene issues to the Manager.
- Support the café team in maintaining overall hygiene standards.
- Follow health, safety, and company procedures.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, or commercial establishment is preferred.
- Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene practices.
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties.
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid Food Handling Certificate is mandatory.
