- We are looking for a high‑impact Key Account Manager who is responsible for growing and retaining strategic customer accounts while also identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities.
- It is ideal for someone who thrives in strategic relationship management, excels in complex negotiations, and can drive sustainable revenue growth through strong partnerships with top‑tier national clients.
- This position combines long‑term account development with proactive exploration of new customers to strengthen our market presence and accelerate business expansion.
- How you create impact
- Own and develop key accounts, acting as the primary link between customers and Kuehne+Nagel in line with agreed targets and company guidelines.
- Plan and execute account strategies, define value propositions, and shape tender approaches in collaboration with business units.
- Lead structured customer reviews to align on strategy, priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor monthly performance (volume, pipeline, overdue) and initiate corrective actions when needed.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities, maintain a strong pipeline, and achieve high closing ratios.
- Negotiate rates with customers in alignment with the relevant business units, ensuring rate sheets are properly documented and maintained.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new business and effective handover to operations
- What we would like you to bring
- Min 5 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within the Middle East market
- Strong strategic account management skills with proven success in growing and retaining key customers
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills; fluent in English and Arabic
- Solid understanding of Sea, Air, and Road Logistics, including customs processes
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with a proactive, continuous‑improvement mindset
- High proficiency in Excel and strong analytical capabilities
- Willingness to travel up to 30% within the cluster; healthcare industry experience is an advantage
