Role Overview
AlphaMind is seeking a Junior Waiter for Son Of A Fish.
The role supports senior restaurant staff by greeting guests, clearing tables, and delivering food and drinks.
The position operates in a fast-paced dining environment with high service, presentation, hygiene, and hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests, present menus, explain dishes, recommend pairings, and take and serve orders.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalised attention.
- Set up, maintain, and clear tables according to high-end standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff.
- Handle complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when needed.
- Maintain menu, ingredient, wine, beverage, promotion, event, and service-standard knowledge.
- Upsell specials, premium items, and wine pairings.
- Keep dining areas clean and follow hygiene and safety practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Two to four years of experience in high-end restaurants, fine dining, or luxury hotels.
- Knowledge of fine-dining etiquette, service standards, and wine or beverage pairings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach with a passion for hospitality.
