- Maintain all mise en place at a sufficient level to ensure uninterrupted food flow during service while controlling quality, consistency, appearance and taste
- Mentor the sushi team, providing training, guidance, and support to maintain Zuma standards
- Strive for quality of service and consistency in guest experience
- Evaluate guest experiences, implement service improvements, and strive for consistency in exceptional hospitality
- Work alongside the Sous Chef and Head Sushi Chef to craft and refine sushi creations, incorporating seasonal ingredients and unique culinary concepts
Requirements
- Proven experience as Junior Sushi Sous Chef or higher in a luxury high volume restaurant
- Passion for Japanese cuisine
- Natural team player
- Customer oriented and skilled at creating memorable dining experiences

Main Duties
- Maintain all mise en place at a sufficient level to ensure uninterrupted food flow during service while controlling quality, consistency, appearance and taste.
- Mentor the sushi team, providing training, guidance, and support to maintain Zuma standards.
- Consistently strive for quality of service and consistency in guest experience.
