Job Summary
A pre-opening takeaway pizza shop in Abu Dhabi is seeking a motivated Junior Pizza Chef.
The role involves pizza preparation, kitchen operations, and support for takeaway service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and fresh ingredients according to company standards.
- Assemble and bake high-quality pizzas consistently.
- Assist with food preparation and daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and stock rotation.
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen workstations.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor ingredient levels and report shortages.
- Assist in receiving and checking deliveries.
- Support takeaway operations and basic POS transactions when required.
- Work with the team during pre-opening and daily operations.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a pizza shop, café, or restaurant kitchen.
- Italian-style pizza-making knowledge is a strong advantage.
- Basic POS system knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced takeaway environment.
- Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.

Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,500 to AED 2,700 per month.
