Kitchen Duties
- Assist the chef and senior kitchen staff with food preparation and cooking.
- Prepare vegetables, meat, seafood, sauces, and other food items.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and preparation procedures.
- Assist with plating dishes according to required standards.
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen workstations.
- Store and handle food and ingredients properly.
Food Safety and Supplies
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor ingredient quality and freshness.
- Receive, check, and store kitchen supplies.
- Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods and service hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Junior Chef, Commis Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Assistant is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is required.
- Willingness to learn and develop cooking skills is required.
- Good teamwork, communication, personal hygiene, and cleanliness are required.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen is required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
- Candidates currently in the UAE are preferred.
