Role Overview
A kitchen team in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Junior Chef specializing in Neapolitan pizza.
The role supports authentic Neapolitan pizza preparation and offers opportunities to develop professional pizza-making skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas according to company standards.
- Prepare and portion dough, sauces, cheese, and other ingredients.
- Assist with dough fermentation, stretching, and shaping.
- Top and bake pizzas in a high-temperature pizza oven.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, texture, and presentation.
- Maintain stock rotation, storage, cleanliness, and workstation hygiene.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist the Senior Chef and kitchen team with daily operations.
- Minimize food waste and maintain portion control.
- Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef or management.
Requirements
- Previous pizza-making or professional kitchen experience is preferred.
- Neapolitan-style pizza experience is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of pizza dough preparation and fermentation is required.
- Willingness to learn authentic Neapolitan pizza-making techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
