Arabic Bakery Supervisor

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise bakery operations and lead, train, and monitor bakery staff.
• Prepare and oversee Arabic bread, khubz, manakish, saj, pastries, and other traditional bakery products.
• Ensure consistent product quality, taste, presentation, portioning, storage, and handling.
• Plan production based on sales and customer demand.
• Monitor stock, coordinate ingredient purchasing, control food waste, and ensure proper raw-material use.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, equipment operation, and maintenance standards.
• Monitor attendance, performance, and policy compliance and coordinate staffing and production needs with management.
• Address customer and operational concerns and assist with inventory and daily production reports.

Requirements

• Have at least 2–3 years of experience as an Arabic Bakery Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
• Have strong knowledge of Arabic bakery products and production techniques.
• Be able to lead and supervise a bakery team.
• Have good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Candidates currently in the UAE are preferred.

Preferred Skills

• UAE or GCC bakery experience is an advantage.
• Experience with commercial bakery equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards is preferred.
• Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 3,000–AED 3,500 per month.

• Work location is in person at Shabiya 9, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
