Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries
- Assist with month end and year end closing procedures and ensure timely financial reporting
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and process payroll in coordination with HR
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and tax regulations; prepare and file relevant tax returns
- Follow up with clients to ensure timely collection of payments
- Maintain and reconcile cash and bank transactions
- Prepare reports for accruals, prepaid expenses, and other period end adjustments
- Provide weekly and monthly financial summaries to management
- Conduct financial analysis and build financial models to support business decisions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 3 4 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, ZohoBooks)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving ability
- Saudi Arabia experience required
- UAE experience required

Job Summary
- We are looking for a detail oriented and proactive Mid Senior level Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day to day accounting functions, preparing payroll, supporting internal financial reporting, and performing financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries. Ensure accurate verification, allocation, and posting of financial data.
- Assist with month end and year end closing procedures and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process payroll in coordination with HR, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE labor laws.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and tax regulations; prepare and file relevant tax returns.
- Follow up with clients to ensure timely collection of payments in line with agreed credit terms.
- Maintain and reconcile cash and bank transactions.
- Prepare reports for accruals, prepaid expenses, and other period end adjustments.
- Provide weekly and monthly financial summaries to management.
- Conduct financial analysis and build financial models to support business decisions.
- Research and report on market trends and competitor activity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 3 4 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, ZohoBooks)
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving ability, and communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Saudi Arabia Experience Required
Pay
- Pay: AED3,000.00 AED4,000.00 per month
