Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive IT Manager to lead and manage the organization’s IT operations across a large-scale, enterprise environment.
  • The role will oversee multiple IT domains including Infrastructure, Cloud Environment, Network & Security, Database Systems, DevOps, and IT Support, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of all systems supporting business-critical operations.
  • The ideal candidate must have strong experience managing hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud), with deep expertise in networking, firewalls, virtualization, and enterprise systems, along with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Scope of Responsibility
  • Lead and manage cross-functional IT teams:

• Network & Security

  • Database Administration

• IT Support And Helpdesk

  • Ensure 24/7 system availability, operational stability, and incident response
  • Support large-scale environments and high-volume systems
  • Drive IT strategy aligned with business growth and operational needs

1. IT Leadership & Governance

  • Define and execute IT strategy, roadmap, and architecture standards
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
  • Manage team performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with vendors, MSPs, and internal stakeholders

2. Infrastructure & Data Center Management

  • Oversee enterprise infrastructure including:
  • Windows Server (Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP)
  • Linux systems (Ubuntu, RHEL, etc.)
  • Manage virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V)
  • Ensure high availability, clustering, and capacity planning
  • Manage storage systems and infrastructure lifecycle

3. Network & Security Management

  • Design and manage enterprise network architecture (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs)
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall solutions, including:
  • Fortinet (FortiGate)
  • Sophos
  • Sangfor

• Barracuda (including WAF)

  • Azure Firewall
  • Implement and maintain firewall policies, NAT, segmentation, and access controls
  • Manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and secure public-facing systems
  • Ensure secure connectivity across on-premises and cloud environments
  • Conduct security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response

4. Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure

  • Manage and optimize environments across:
  • On-premises infrastructure
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, hybrid)
  • Design and maintain secure hybrid connectivity (VPN, tunnels, firewall integration)
  • Implement cloud-native security (Azure Firewall, NSG, Application Gateway/WAF)
  • Lead cloud migration, DR replication, and cost optimization initiatives

5. Virtualization & End-User Computing

  • Manage virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V)
  • Oversee VDI environments (VMware Horizon)
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and availability for enterprise users

6. Database Oversight

  • Oversee database environments:
  • SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cassandra (as applicable)
  • Ensure database backup, recovery, and high availability
  • Coordinate performance tuning and optimization with DB teams

7. DevOps, Automation & Modern Platforms

  • Oversee container environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Promote automation using PowerShell, Bash, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Support application teams with deployment and infrastructure integration

8. Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

  • Define and manage enterprise backup strategies
  • Implement and test Disaster Recovery (DR) plans
  • Ensure compliance with RPO/RTO requirements
  • Conduct regular DR drills and readiness assessments

9. Monitoring & Performance

  • Implement and manage enterprise monitoring tools
  • Ensure proactive alerting and incident handling
  • Identify system bottlenecks and optimize performance

10. Team Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional IT teams
  • Act as escalation point for critical incidents
  • Manage vendors, MSPs, and external service providers

11. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain enterprise documentation (architecture, SOPs, DR plans)
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and audit requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience

  • 7–10+ years in IT infrastructure / system administration
  • 3–5 years in leadership or IT management role
  • Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise environments

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

  • AWS Certifications

• CompTIA Network+ And Security+

  • Kubernetes certifications

Technical Skills

  • Advanced expertise in:

• Windows Server (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP)

  • Linux administration

• Virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V)

  • Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, segmentation)
  • Strong experience with:
  • Firewalls (FortiGate, Sophos, Sangfor, Barracuda, Azure Firewall)
  • Load balancers (HAProxy, NGINX, F5)
  • Hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud)
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
  • Backup and DR solutions
