Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant cum Admin role based in Dubai.
The role includes supporting day-to-day accounting operations such as recording transactions, assisting with bookkeeping, preparing basic financial reports, and helping with invoicing and payment follow-ups.
The Junior Accountant cum Admin will maintain accurate records, update spreadsheets and accounting systems, and assist with reconciliations and documentation for internal reviews.
Administrative responsibilities include managing office documentation, coordinating schedules and meetings, handling basic correspondence, and supporting procurement and vendor management.
The role also involves collaborating with finance, operations, and other team members to ensure smooth office operations and timely completion of routine tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Accounting and Bookkeeping, with the ability to record transactions accurately and maintain organized ledgers.
- Experience or familiarity with Financial Statements, including interpreting basic reports and supporting their preparation.
- Hands-on skills in Invoicing, including generating, tracking, and following up on customer invoices in coordination with relevant teams.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to review financial data, identify discrepancies, and support problem-solving in day-to-day operations.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and basic accounting or ERP software; comfort working with digital tools and systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in an accounting or administrative support role (internship or junior role) is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai and collaborate in a fast-paced, technology-focused environment.
