Role Overview

Quality Management

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001, ADNOC Offshore specifications, and project requirements.
• Review Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, Method Statements, and Quality Procedures.
• Monitor project activities for conformance with approved quality requirements and industry standards.
• Support the Project Quality Manager in achieving quality objectives and key performance indicators.

Inspection and Surveillance

• Conduct quality surveillance of fabrication, construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure inspections follow approved ITPs and project specifications.
• Coordinate with ADNOC Offshore representatives, third-party inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Witness hydrotesting, pressure testing, NDT, welding, coating, and mechanical completion inspections.

Welding, NDT, and Materials

• Review and approve WPS, PQR, and Welder Qualification Records and monitor welding against ASME, AWS, and project requirements.
• Verify RT, UT, MT, PT, and visual inspections and review related reports.
• Verify material receiving inspections, certification, traceability, identification, preservation, storage, and handling.
• Monitor procurement quality requirements and vendor quality performance.

NCRs, Audits, and Reporting

• Raise, review, and close NCRs; conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in internal, supplier, subcontractor, external, and ADNOC Offshore audits.
• Maintain project quality records and review turnover dossiers, manufacturing record books, and final quality dossiers.
• Prepare quality reports and coordinate quality matters with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Welding Engineering, or a related discipline, is required.
• At least 15 years of QA/QC experience in oil and gas, EPC, offshore, or petrochemical projects is required.
• At least five years of ADNOC, ADNOC Offshore, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy, or major Middle East offshore project experience is required.
• Experience with offshore platforms, pipelines, topsides, brownfield, greenfield, fabrication yards, offshore construction, and commissioning is required.

Certifications

• Lead Auditor certification in ISO 9001 is preferred.
• CSWIP 3.1/3.2, BGAS, NACE, API, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
