EY-Parthenon is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to lead strategic consulting engagements, specifically within the Oil & Gas sector.
The role involves working with clients on complex strategic challenges and developing actionable insights and high-impact deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic consulting engagements and define project objectives with senior leadership.
- Work directly with clients to translate strategic needs into actionable insights and deliverables.
- Manage project teams, client relationships, project quality, and delivery timelines.
- Identify risks, escalate issues, and maintain rigorous consulting standards.
- Mentor junior team members and support their development.
- Conduct market assessments, develop business strategies, and apply data-driven insights to decision-making.
Skills and Experience
- Candidates should have a solid consulting background delivering strategic projects in Oil & Gas in the MENA region.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required.
- Candidates should be proficient with data analytics tools and understand relevant industry trends.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-ranking institution with outstanding academic performance.
- MBA or Master’s degree is advantageous.
- At least 6 to 8 years of experience in strategy consulting or related fields.
- Experience with energy-transition programs, strategy roadmaps, industrial competitiveness, and growth strategy.
- Experience with big-picture strategy projects and detailed assessments of industries, products, markets, competitors, and customers.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the MENA region approximately 25% to 70% of the time.
