Role Overview
Amazon Global Specialty Fulfillment operations is building new business models and seeks an experienced operations lead for its Amazon Now service.
The role supports ultra-fast grocery operations, third-party store operations, and last-mile delivery service partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily end-to-end operations across a combination of small sites and supervise last-mile operations.
- Meet customer-facing metrics, control costs, and uphold team safety and morale.
- Drive team performance management and implement training and development plans for riders.
- Improve delivery processes and sustain delivery performance improvements.
- Conduct daily 4M and 5S audits for the delivery station.
- Stand in for the Area Manager when required.
- Implement attendance and other company policies consistently, and coach associates on productivity, quality, and safety.
Location
- The candidate must be based in Abu Dhabi.
Basic Qualifications
- Speak, write, and read English fluently.
- Experience implementing process improvements.
- Experience in data analysis and using insights to inform decisions.
- Advanced Excel experience, including practical knowledge of VBA, macros, and advanced Excel functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
