Role Overview
The role designs, develops, and maintains scalable backend applications and microservices.
The position requires expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, databases, and cloud-native technologies.
The ideal candidate understands backend architecture and builds high-performance, reliable, and maintainable services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java backend applications using Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
- Develop scalable microservices-based architectures and high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Implement persistence with Hibernate/JPA and write optimized SQL queries for relational databases.
- Containerize applications with Docker and support Kubernetes deployments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
- Write maintainable reusable code, develop unit tests, and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout development.
- Improve backend practices, architecture, and deployment processes.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java and J2EE.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and enterprise application development.
- Practical experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
- Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA and data persistence frameworks.
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge, including complex optimized queries.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of backend architecture, scalability, performance, troubleshooting, testing, and code quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
