Responsibilities
- Provide first and second level IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices
- Respond promptly to IT support requests and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripheral devices
- Create and manage user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions
- Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and hospital information systems
- Monitor and maintain LAN, Wi Fi, internet connectivity, and telephone systems
- Assist with CCTV, biometric systems, and other IT infrastructure
- Perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment and maintain IT asset inventory
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs, maintenance, and software licensing
- Apply security updates, antivirus protection, and monitor for security incidents
- Maintain accurate documentation of support tickets, IT assets, and technical procedures
- Provide after hours support during emergencies or critical system outages when required
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 3 5 years experience in IT Support or Help Desk role
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
- Experience supporting Hospital Information Systems, CCTV, biometric systems, or networked medical devices
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office, LAN/WAN, Wi Fi, computer hardware
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
- High level of integrity and confidentiality

Job Summary
- Naoero Hospital is seeking a proactive and customer focused IT Support Officer to join our Information Technology team.
- Reporting to the IT Manager, you will provide day to day technical support to hospital staff, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure reliable operation of computer systems, networks, and hospital applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second level IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
- Respond promptly to IT support requests and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

Requirements
