Overview

The IT Support is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users with various IT-related issues.

This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software problems, assisting with network connectivity and resolving software application errors.

They are also required to provide support via phone, email and/or in-person, and must follow the procedures to document and track issues for effective resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve technical issues (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.).
  • Provide technical support for systems and networks.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot POS systems, printers, and Wi-Fi access points.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone or email.
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
  • Set up and configure desktops and laptops for new users based on company best practice guidelines.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and relevant questioning.
  • Track, route, and document problems, requests, and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in IT or a related discipline.
  • 2–3 years of experience in IT support, networking, or help desk operations.
  • Experience in the theme park industry will be an added advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, gaming systems, and related technologies, with an enthusiastic approach to continuous learning.
  • Good skills in:
  • IT administration
  • Information analysis
  • Computer hardware/software systems
  • Data center management and data governance
  • Computer networks, network administration, and network installation
  • Database design and development
  • Enthusiastic approach to expanding knowledge of all gaming is plus

  • Pay: Up to QAR5,000.00 per month
