Key Role
- Set up, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure across head office and construction site offices (networks, servers, workstations, printers, and communication systems).
- Install, troubleshoot, and support hardware and software for end users on a daily basis.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support, ensuring minimal downtime and quick issue resolution.
- Manage network connectivity, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and site-to-site communication.
- Coordinate IT setup for new construction sites, including temporary offices, internet connectivity, and system deployment.
- Monitor system performance, security, and backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Maintain IT inventory, asset tracking, and documentation for all systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and support services.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.
- Assist in implementing new technologies and system upgrades.
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure management.
- Experience working in both office and site environments (construction or industrial experience is a plus).
- Proven track record in handling end-user support and infrastructure setup.
- Familiarity with managing multiple locations or remote sites is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networking, storage, and endpoints).
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and user administration.
- Networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and routing).
- Experience with Microsoft 365, email systems, and collaboration tools.
- Hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals).
