IT SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST (ORACLE EBS FINANCE)

About the Role

Candidate Requirements

• Full-time permanent role requiring 10+ years across finance systems and finance operations.
• At least 6 years of hands-on Oracle EBS functional experience and three full-lifecycle implementations, upgrades, or major rollouts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is required.
• CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA is preferred; Oracle EBS R12 Financials certification is advantageous.
• UAE or wider GCC experience and practical UAE VAT exposure are required.
• UAE Corporate Tax exposure is preferred.
• Multi-entity group experience is essential; construction, contracting, EPC, or manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• External audit experience and formal IT change control experience are required.

Oracle EBS Finance Ownership

• Provide day-to-day functional support across production and non-production environments and in-scope legal entities.
• Own configuration for General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, iExpenses, Tax, and Intercompany.
• Perform root cause analysis, manage Oracle Support escalations, and maintain configuration, interface, and process documentation.

Project and Contracting Finance

• Support project costing, budget-versus-actual analysis, commitment tracking, and work-in-progress reporting.
• Support progress billing, interim payment certificates, retention, advances, variation orders, and cost-value reconciliation.
• Support subcontractor and supplier processes and IFRS-compliant revenue recognition for construction contracts.

Close and Reporting

• Support period close, clear errors and exceptions, and reduce close cycle time.
• Reconcile subledgers to the General Ledger and support consolidation, intercompany elimination, and cost allocation.
• Deliver management reporting using BI Publisher, FSG, OTBI, Smart View, and Power BI.

Compliance and Delivery

• Support UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, e-invoicing, Wage Protection System files, and end-of-service benefit accruals.
• Lead finance functional work for specifications, testing, data migration, cutover, integrations, and hypercare.
• Maintain controls, segregation of duties, access reviews, change management, audit readiness, and data confidentiality.
• Train finance users, guide technical teams and partners, build a super-user network, and mentor junior analysts.

Skills and Competencies

• Deep hands-on Oracle EBS R12 or R12.2 Financials configuration expertise.
• Working knowledge of Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Project Costing and Billing, and HR and Payroll modules.
• Experience with multi-org, multi-ledger, multi-currency, multi-entity environments and third-party integrations.
• Ability to use BI Publisher, FSG, OTBI, Smart View, Power BI, and SQL for reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with Oracle AIM or OUM, formal change control, and audit-ready documentation.
• Clear communication with finance and technical audiences and composure under regulatory deadlines.
