Purpose of the Job
Lead work activities autonomously with minor direction toward predetermined long-term objectives.
Act as an internal consultant and facilitator by providing guidance for operational activities.
Provide expert support for the development of IT infrastructure and networks delivery guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities
- Capture the current IT infrastructure and networks delivery framework and research new delivery trends and standards.
- Develop IT infrastructure and networks delivery guidelines and standards.
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze business requirements with stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive infrastructure and networks project plans covering planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Manage implementation of software, hardware, servers, backup, data center, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Document project information and lessons learned.
- Manage installation of routers, switches, load balancers, and other infrastructure components.
- Document completed infrastructure and networks changes.
- Participate in testing and validation of infrastructure and networks components.
- Detect and report issues and recommend corrective actions and appropriate solutions.
- Review and validate IT infrastructure and networks implementation documentation.
Requirements
- Experience leading IT infrastructure and networks delivery and testing activities.
- Ability to develop infrastructure and networks delivery guidelines and standards.
- Ability to gather, consolidate, and analyze business requirements with stakeholders.
- Ability to develop comprehensive infrastructure and networks project plans.
- Ability to manage implementation of software, hardware, servers, backup, data center, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ability to manage installation of routers, switches, load balancers, and other infrastructure components.
- Ability to participate in infrastructure and networks testing, validation, issue detection, and corrective action planning.
- Ability to review and validate IT infrastructure and networks implementation documentation.
