Purpose of Job
The role handles complex operational activities for multiple IT applications with general direction.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting escalated incidents, prioritizing changes, documenting solutions, and reporting operational performance against KPIs.
Job Responsibilities
- Research IT application operations trends and standards and define an operations model aligned with IT strategy.
- Collect operational inputs and engage business owners to develop effective IT application operations.
- Receive, prioritize, and resolve IT application incidents in line with SLAs and KPIs.
- Identify production outages, diagnose root causes with stakeholders, and perform corrective resolutions.
Job Details
- Plan proactive and preventive maintenance with relevant IT functions and update application documentation.
- Review application change requests, conduct impact analysis, and provide recommendations.
- Monitor application workflows, health, performance, and resource optimization.
- Follow policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Support junior team members with escalated problems and escalate complex issues when required.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field is required.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience is required.
