Requirements
- 12+ years of banking experience
- Strong background in International Banking, Corporate Banking, GTB, Trade Finance, or Strategic Business Development
- Proven experience supporting international expansion, market entry, or cross border business growth initiatives
- Experience working with China and/or South Korea markets preferred
- Fluency in English & Arabic required
- Mandarin and/or Korean language capability is advantageous
- Willingness to travel extensively

Role Purpose
- Lead the bank's international expansion agenda across China and South Korea.
- Objective of increasing trade finance, investment banking, and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) flows into the bank's core markets.
- Support the bank's broader Connectivity Strategy by strengthening on the ground market presence, deepening strategic partnerships, and establishing sustainable client acquisition and coverage capabilities.
Experience
- 12+ years of banking experience.
- Strong background in International Banking, Corporate Banking, GTB, Trade Finance, or Strategic Business Development.
- Proven experience supporting international expansion, market entry, or cross border business growth initiatives.
- Experience working with China and/or South Korea markets preferred.
- Exposure to trade finance, FDI, connectivity, and international client coverage models.
Profile
- Strong understanding of international banking ecosystems and cross border trade corridors.
- Experience designing coverage models and establishing international market presence.
- Knowledge of trade finance, FDI, and corporate banking products.
- Experience evaluating product, platform, and operating model requirements for growth.
- Strong stakeholder management and partnership development capabilities.
- Ability to engage regulators, financial institutions, corporates, and strategic partners.
- Experience developing business cases, target operating models, and expansion strategies.
- Fluency in English & Arabic required; Mandarin and/or Korean language capability is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel extensively and engage with stakeholders across China and South Korea.
