Responsibilities
- Identify and develop reliable international suppliers and manufacturers
- Request quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize purchase agreements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers worldwide
- Source new FMCG products and evaluate supplier capabilities
- Coordinate international shipments from suppliers to UAE
- Handle import documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs clearance agents
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor stock levels and purchasing requirements
- Plan purchases based on sales forecasts and inventory requirements
- Analyze supplier pricing and market trends
- Prepare procurement reports and cost analyses
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Import/Export, or Supply Chain Management
- Experience in FMCG procurement is highly preferred
- Strong supplier negotiation skills
- Knowledge of international trade and import procedures
- Experience handling overseas suppliers and freight forwarders
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting
