RITS is seeking an Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Technician.
The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating, and commissioning process instrumentation and control systems.
Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
- Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on field instruments.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system failures.
- Repair and replace defective instruments and control components.
- Maintain calibration records and maintenance reports.
Instrumentation Work
- Install, calibrate, and test pressure transmitters, flow meters, level transmitters, and temperature instruments.
- Install, calibrate, and test conductivity, pH, chlorine, and turbidity analyzers.
- Perform loop checking and signal verification.
Control and Automation Systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, RTU, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and control panels.
- Assist in commissioning and startup activities.
- Support control valve testing, tuning, and maintenance.
- Diagnose communication and network-related control issues.
Qualification Requirements
- Diploma or technical certificate in instrumentation engineering, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, or automation technology.
- Additional certification in PLC/SCADA or instrumentation is advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of PROFIBUS communication protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with PROFIBUS-based process instrumentation, including pressure, level, differential pressure, and electromagnetic flow transmitters.
- Knowledge of Festo panels, Siemens PLCs, and Yokogawa CENTUM VP DCS.
- Hands-on experience with ProfiTrace devices, pressure calibrators, and deadweight testers.
- Working experience with chlorine, pH, ORP, hardness, and conductivity analyzers.
- Ability to read and interpret control wiring diagrams, I/O lists, and P&IDs.
- Experience with reverse osmosis systems is optional and advantageous.
