Role Overview
The position is an Engineering Manager/Coordinator for infrastructure and oil and gas projects in Qatar.
The role requires three to eight years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in engineering.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve engineering documents before submission to QatarEnergy.
- Lead and coordinate engineering activities for compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, QatarEnergy standards, and international codes.
- Manage engineering interfaces between QatarEnergy, vendors, subcontractors, consultants, and third-party stakeholders.
- Review and approve inputs for method statements, work procedures, installation procedures, and commissioning plans.
- Coordinate multiple engineering disciplines to support project execution.
- Review design documents, provide technical inputs, and resolve engineering coordination and interface issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
- Three to eight years of relevant engineering or design coordination experience is required.
- Strong multidisciplinary engineering coordination and design review experience is required.
- Strong interface coordination experience between engineering disciplines is required.
- Knowledge of engineering standards, specifications, and applicable international codes is required.
- Experience with contractors, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders is required.
- Infrastructure project experience is preferred, and QatarEnergy experience is advantageous.
- Good communication, coordination, and technical documentation skills are required.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 10,000 to QAR 15,000 per month.
Workplace
- The work location is in person in Qatar.
