Responsibilities
- Accountable for delivery of the installation project, site safety, and financial result
- Participate in sales/installation handover and validate order terms with salesperson
- Plan and organize delivery and storage of materials and tools, place orders to subcontractors and suppliers
- Responsible for site preparations and follow up of site readiness
- Ensure use of correct KONE installation methods throughout installation
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Controlling to align site activities with contractual payment terms
- Accountable for final testing of equipment and handover to maintenance
- Manage customer satisfaction and quality of installation; single point of contact for customer during installation
- Manage subcontractor quality and safety performance
- Lead and develop site operatives, manage performance, determine objectives, and identify training needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- 5 7 years of experience in elevator & escalator industry
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- Effective communication and negotiation skills with contractors, clients, and stakeholders
- Leadership skills for managing on site teams
- Excellent verbal and written English and Arabic language skills

Role Overview
- KONE is looking for an Installation Supervisor to manage and control projects from sales/installation handover to completion and handover to client and Maintenance.
- Supervisor leads the installation team to ensure safe, high quality, complete on time delivery of KONE solutions within budget.
- Acts as KONE interface to customer and other stakeholders throughout the Fulfil process.
- Expected to support sales team in pre tender and tender activities as requested.
What will you do? Site supervision process
- Accountable for delivery of the installation project.
- Accountable for Site Safety.
- Responsible for securing efficient management of environmental aspects of installation.
- Accountable for financial result of the project.
- Participates in sales/installation handover and validates order terms with salesperson.
- Responsible for planning and organizing delivery and storage of materials and tools, placing orders to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Responsible for site preparations and follow up of site readiness.
- Accountable for use of correct KONE installation methods throughout installation.
- Collaborates with Accounts Payable/Controlling to ensure site activities align with contractual payment terms.
- Accountable for final testing of equipment and handover to maintenance.
Customer and Sub contractor Relationship Management
- Accountable for customer satisfaction and quality of installation.
- Accountable for Sub contractor quality and Safety performance.
- Single point of contact towards customer during installation regarding site management, responsible for internal and external communication.
People management / Leadership
- Accountable for people (site operatives) development and wellbeing, managing performance of team and individuals.
- Determines objectives, plans, organizes, communicates, controls, and motivates installation team.
- Identifies field operative training needs and manages training plans.
