- Proactively identify risks and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Experience in computer networking
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
- Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Knowledge of network design, protocols and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting

Description
- Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Delivery owns the end to end design, planning, delivery, and operation of the global AWS infrastructure footprint.
- We are seeking an ID Install Technician to support network infrastructure deployment and expansion within our next generation data center environments.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Support deployment of next generation network infrastructure across global data centers
- Perform rack installation, structured cabling, hardware deployment, validation, and troubleshooting
- Work closely with Network Engineering, Operations, Security, and Logistics teams to execute infrastructure builds with precision and efficiency
- Proactively identify risks, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and deliver consistent operational excellence
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Experience in computer networking
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
- Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science
- Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Knowledge of server hardware and components
