Job Description

Inspection and Site Supervision

• Inspect electrical systems, installations, and equipment against contract documents, specifications, codes, and quality requirements.
• Conduct daily inspections of MV/LV distribution, substations, wiring, conduits, panels, lighting, and power systems.
• Monitor street lighting, apron floodlighting, GPUs, and AGL infrastructure installations.
• Conduct site surveillance and validate work-pack test data against specified requirements and tolerances.

Testing and Quality

• Oversee testing, commissioning, and energization of electrical systems.
• Review shop drawings, contractor submittals, method statements, and ITPs.
• Verify materials, workmanship, equipment installations, and QESOH policy compliance.
• Raise NCRs and ensure timely resolution of deficiencies, code violations, and safety hazards.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, logs, records, and progress reports.

Coordination and Reporting

• Participate in site coordination, progress, and pre-construction meetings.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, project managers, stakeholders, and other inspectors to resolve technical and integration issues.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to improve electrical safety and efficiency.
• Perform other duties assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical inspection experience.
• Proven electrical project and construction supervision experience with an engineering consultancy.
• Construction site and aviation project experience.
• Aviation experience is preferred and prior PMC experience is highly desirable.

Technical Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Saudi electrical codes, SEC standards, and international regulations.
• Good understanding of infrastructure electrical systems, including street lighting, utility networks, cabling, MV/LV substations, and AGL.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, networking, and integrated systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Expertise using testing equipment and inspection tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant inspection software.

Communication and Work Style

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
