Job Description

The Electrical/ICT Inspector works in Riyadh to ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of electrical installations.

The role monitors electrical, ICT, and ELV works on site against approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and project quality requirements.

Inspection and Technical Duties

  • Inspect electrical, ICT, and ELV systems including distribution, substations, structured cabling, CCTV, security, fire alarm, and building management interfaces.
  • Monitor street lighting, apron floodlighting, GPUs, AGL, SAS, and telecom infrastructure installations.
  • Review work packs, test data, method statements, inspection and test plans, and material submittals.
  • Witness testing and commissioning and verify materials, installation methods, workmanship, and project compliance.
  • Raise non-conformance reports, document deficiencies and hazards, and support timely resolution.
  • Prepare inspection records and reports and participate in coordination, progress, and pre-construction meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of electrical, ICT, and ELV inspection experience, preferably in infrastructure and hangar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi electrical codes, SEC standards, international regulations, construction safety standards, and infrastructure electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling, networking, integrated systems, electrical drawings, schematics, testing equipment, and inspection tools.
  • Construction-site experience is required; aviation project experience and PMC experience are preferred.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, independent and team-working ability, English proficiency, and Microsoft Office or inspection software proficiency are required.
  • Arabic language skills are a plus.

Project Environment

  • The role involves inspecting and monitoring construction-site work and coordinating with contractors, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders in Riyadh.
