Job summary

Generate leads for the sales team to sell cybersecurity solutions and services via telephone and email.

The role works with the existing Business Development team on prospecting, qualification, appointments, and commercial proposals.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Engage in cold calling to establish new business.
  • Use CRM and datamining tools for database creation.
  • Identify sales opportunities by exploring client needs.
  • Understand the negotiating interests of the company and clients while applying technical knowledge.
  • Follow up on client commitments, prospect, qualify, and develop profitable new account relationships.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends in security, networking, infrastructure, and availability.
  • Fix appointments and prepare commercial proposals for sales teams.

Qualifications and skills

  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Three to four years of proven lead-generation experience for cybersecurity solutions or services via telephone or email is required.
  • Candidates must be motivated by cold calling, asking probing questions, and gathering information.
  • Inside sales skills and strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Technical areas and languages

  • Relevant solutions include next-generation firewalls, endpoint security, backup solutions, servers, and storage.
  • Languages listed are English, Malayalam, and Hindi.
