Responsibilities
- Design scalable, fault tolerant infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
- Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management with Python or Go
- Lead incident response, post mortems, and root cause analyses
- Define and uphold SLOs and error budgets for core services
- Balance tactical fixes with long term platform reliability investments
- Collaborate cross functionally with product, security, and engineering teams
- Use AI agents in daily workflow for incident investigation, drafting changes, and code review
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or similar role building and operating large scale production systems
- Experience with containerization in production using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform or Pulumi on at least one major cloud (AWS preferred)
- Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and tooling
- Daily use of AI agentic tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Droid, Codex) in workflow
- Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills
- End to end ownership of mission critical systems

About The Role
- As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will ensure platform availability, performance, and reliability 24/7.
- This is a hybrid position based out of New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, or London hubs.
- You will report to the director of engineering.
What You'll Do Technical
- Bring deep focus to one problem at a time, moving between SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Platform work.
- Challenge the status quo and remove toil before adding features; automate with Python or Go.
- Design scalable, fault tolerant infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure using Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform.
- Run AI agents (Claude Code, Droid, Codex) in daily workflow for incident investigation, drafting changes, and code review.
- Lead incident response, post mortems, and root cause analyses.
What You'll Do Non technical
- Own reliability, performance, and efficiency of core services end to end; define SLOs and error budgets.
- Balance tactical fixes with 6 12 month platform direction.
- Collaborate with product, security, and engineering peers on system design.
What You Need Technical
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or similar role.
- Experience with containerization in production using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform or Pulumi on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and tooling.
- Daily use of AI agentic tooling (Claude Code, Droid, Codex) in workflow.
- First principles decision making and ability to name tradeoffs.
- Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
What You Need Non technical
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability; at least one 0 to 1 infrastructure build owned end to end.

- Software engineering background with experience designing and shipping production code in Python, Go, or similar.

Compensation Range
- $139,800 $273,700 per year.
