About the Role

Responsibilities
- Own day to day technical support of Business Central across entities: troubleshoot posting issues, integration errors, permission problems and data questions
- Develop and maintain AL extensions following Microsoft's development guidelines and AppSource grade best practices
- Work with external development partner on larger builds: review pull requests, test deliverables against specs, and hold the line on code quality and scope
- Support and monitor integration landscape: WMS interfaces, Shopify, and others. Investigate failed messages, trace root causes, and propose fixes
- Use AI tooling as a core part of work: AI assisted coding for AL development, BC Copilot features, and AI agents
- Translate business requests into clear technical requirements. Challenge when a request does not make sense by proposing the standard BC way before proposing customization
- Manage environment hygiene: sandbox refreshes, extension deployments, telemetry review, Feature Management, and preparation for BC major version upgrades
- Work directly with users at every level, from warehouse operators to finance leads to C level, and communicate in the language each audience needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience (or NAV with recent BC cloud experience) in a technical or techno functional capacity
- Solid AL development skills in VS Code: table and page extensions, codeunits, event subscribers, APIs, report layouts
- Understanding of BC's posting engine, dimensions, posting groups, item ledger and warehouse structures
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate development and research
- Critical thinking and ability to question requirements and spot edge cases
- Comfortable working with end users, finance teams, external partners and senior management
- Positive attitude, eagerness to continue learn and grow
- Prior experience within retail or distribution industries
- Fluent English, written and spoken

About the Role
- We are an international fashion distribution business running Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as our core ERP platform, integrated with warehouse, eCommerce and marketplace systems.

Nice to Have
- Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse) in a BC context.
- Experience in fashion.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps & GIT for source control and work item tracking.
- Microsoft certification MB 800 (Business Central Functional Consultant) and/or AL developer credentials.
