Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Support business and end users in day-to-day SAP SD and front-end technology operations.
• Analyze business processes and liaise with engineering, customer support, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Provide quality assurance, documentation, release management, and change management.
• Use ABAP, debugging, reports, forms, ALE/IDOC, integrations, BADIs, BAPIs, SAP Queries, and object-oriented programming.
• Gather requirements, create designs and specifications, configure SAP, test solutions, and create knowledge articles.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify recurring patterns, and drive continuous improvement.

Mandatory skill sets

• At least 3 years of IT experience in SAP SD.
• Working knowledge of SAP ABAP and debugging.
• Knowledge of SAP SD business processes and integration with SAP MM, SAP FI, and external systems.
• Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, SAP configuration, custom-program specifications, testing, and knowledge articles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• A bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification is specified, including BE, B.Tech, MBA, or MCA.

Technical skills

• SAP Reports, Module Pool, SAP Scripts, Forms, ALV Reports, ALE/IDOC, Service Gateway or integrations, BADIs, BAPIs, SAP Queries, and object-oriented programming.
• EDI, IDOCs, REST APIs, middleware, and enterprise SAP landscapes.
• ServiceNow and JIRA are desirable, along with incident and problem management knowledge.

Preferred qualifications

• SAP SD certification is preferred.
• Strong user-support capability, attention to detail, creative problem solving, self-direction, and ability to manage shifting priorities are preferred.
