Role Overview
PwC's Data and Analytics Advisory practice designs and develops data solutions that help clients turn raw data into actionable insights.
The role focuses on building data infrastructure, data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and cloud services.
- Build and optimize Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, file formats, streams, tasks, and stored procedures.
- Implement ingestion using Snowpipe, COPY INTO, CDC, Streams, and Tasks.
- Develop transformations using SQL, DBT, and Python.
- Migrate data from legacy platforms such as Oracle and SQL Server to Snowflake.
- Design and maintain Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
- Implement RBAC, row-level security, masking policies, and governance standards.
- Optimize warehouse performance, query execution, clustering, and cost utilization.
- Support Power BI and Tableau reporting and analytics platforms.
- Perform source-to-target validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, data analysts, and BI teams on analytics-ready datasets.
Mandatory Skills
- Advanced SQL.
- Data warehousing concepts.
- SCD Type 1 and Type 2.
- Data modeling.
- ETL/ELT development.
- Data migration.
- Four to eight years of experience.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of real-time data ingestion and change data capture.
- Experience with DBT and Airflow orchestration.
Education
- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, or MCA is listed in the education details.
- A bachelor's or master's degree, including Bachelor of Engineering, is listed as required.
