Role Overview

Provide business application consulting for financial services operations and retail banking processes.

Optimize deposits, lending, and payments processes from discovery and design through rollout and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Map current-state processes for deposits, lending workflows, or payment journeys.
  • Design future-state processes aligned with regulatory standards.
  • Document BRD/FRD, BPMN maps, SOPs, SLAs, control frameworks, traceability, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with business, operations, risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders on functional solutioning.
  • Coordinate with core banking, LOS/LMS, payment switch, and gateway platform owners.
  • Plan and execute UAT, manage defects, and ensure production cutover readiness.
  • Track process metrics and drive continuous improvement using Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Support risk reviews, audits, remediation, reconciliation, settlement controls, and operational risk checkpoints.
  • Prepare training materials and support change adoption.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Postgraduate or professional degree required.
  • 3–5 years of retail banking process consulting experience required.
  • Strong exposure to at least one of deposits, lending, or payments required.
  • Strong stakeholder management and functional requirements translation skills required.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance frameworks required.
  • Hands-on BRD/FRD, BPMN, SOP, and UAT experience required.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to core systems and integration touchpoints is preferred.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt awareness is preferred.
  • Excel and PowerPoint exposure for management communication is preferred.
