Qualification

• About you
• Bachelor's Degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent with minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in motion graphics, GUI design, or visual production
• Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite; strong working knowledge of Figma for UI/UX motion prototyping; familiarity with Lottie, ProtoPie, or equivalent animation delivery tools. Cinema 4D or equivalent 3D software is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong understanding of GUI design principles and experience designing for interactive digital platforms
• Proven experience delivering motion graphics and animated assets in a creative agency, broadcast, entertainment, or premium digital brand environment
• Track record of working on visually ambitious, high-profile projects where motion design and immersive UI/UX are central to the product experience
• Experience designing for large-scale interactive platforms — gaming, streaming, luxury retail, automotive, or consumer technology environments are all highly relevant
• Familiarity with UX/UI workflows and the ability to collaborate effectively with interface design and technical teams
• A strong portfolio demonstrating immersive motion design, GUI animation, and visual storytelling at a premium level

About The Role

• As **IFEC Visual Experience Designer**, you will lead the visual and motion design of the IFEC platform, creating immersive, animated experiences that bring the graphical user interface to life.
• Your work will define how millions of passengers interact with and feel about Qatar Airways' onboard entertainment system.
• You will design and produce high-quality motion graphics, animated GUI assets, and dynamic visual content that elevate the onboard experience from functional to exceptional.
• This role goes beyond static design — it is about building a living, breathing visual world, where motion, animation, and interface design combine to create a seamless and immersive passenger journey.
• As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
• Lead motion design and animation of GUI elements across the IFEC platform, ensuring a premium, immersive visual experience
• Design and produce dynamic assets including animated menus, transitions, banners, trailers, and interactive interface elements
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual motion language aligned with Qatar Airways' brand identity and design system
• Collaborate with UX/UI, technical, and operational teams to ensure motion design is optimised for the IFEC platform's technical parameters
• Manage end-to-end production lifecycle of motion and GUI assets for delivery and deployment
• Support broader immersive editorial experience by producing visually compelling assets that enhance content discovery and passenger engagement
• Liaise with external agencies and motion design suppliers through clear creative briefs and quality standards
• Ensure all visual output complies with brand guidelines, cultural sensitivities, platform technical requirements
• Monitor visual performance of GUI elements and iterate based on passenger feedback and engagement data
