I&C engineering and control systems specialist role supporting developer bids, RFPs, technical due diligence, evaluation, and contract activities.
Job Description
- Act as technical advisor for I&C engineering and control systems scope during developer bid review.
- Support RFP and technical specification preparation.
- Lead technical due diligence.
- Verify compliance with project and off-taker requirements.
- Identify risks and deviations and prepare clarifications.
- Support technical evaluation.
- Contribute to contract schedules and negotiation support.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- At least 10 years in CCGT or thermal plant I&C, DCS/SIS engineering, bid evaluation, FAT/SAT, and commissioning support.
- Professional registration or chartership is preferred.
- OEM, utility, or off-taker experience is preferred.
Technical expertise
- Experience with DCS/PLC, GT/ST control integration, HRSG controls, BMS, ESD/SIS, field instrumentation, control narratives, SIL, cybersecurity, historians, and SCADA/LDC/dispatch interfaces.
- Knowledge of IEC 61511, IEC 62443, ISA 18.2, ISA 84, IEC 61131, IEC 61850, and IEC 60870-5-104 where applicable.
- Knowledge of DCS, SCADA, and architecture standards.
Commercial and contract awareness
Ability to read and comment on IPP, PPA, and EPC technical schedules, guarantees, LD-linked performance clauses, interface obligations, acceptance testing requirements, and developer deviations.
