Role Overview
Lead food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health compliance throughout the hotel.
Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of the hotel’s HACCP and food safety management systems.
Work with Culinary, Food and Beverage, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Engineering, Human Resources, and other departments to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and maintain a safe environment.

Job Purpose
Lead food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health compliance throughout the hotel.
Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of the hotel’s HACCP and food safety management systems.
Work with Culinary, Food and Beverage, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Engineering, Human Resources, and other departments to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Degree, diploma, or professional qualification in Food Science, Food Safety, Food Production, Hospitality, Environmental Health, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Hygiene Manager, Assistant Hygiene Manager, Food Safety Officer, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety systems, sanitation, hygiene auditing, food handling, storage, preparation, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention.
- Knowledge of local food safety, health, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
- HACCP or another recognized food safety certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with hygiene inspections, risk assessments, internal audits, corrective actions, training, reporting, and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant reporting or documentation systems.
- Good written and spoken English, with strong attention to detail, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
