Job Summary
- The HVAC Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The role requires strong hands on experience with Package Air Conditioning Units and the ability to ensure optimal system performance,
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including Package AC Units, Split AC Units, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
- Conduct routine inspections and performance testing of HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues related to compressors, motors, thermostats, controls, refrigerant circuits, and electrical components.
- Monitor and maintain refrigerant levels and ensure leak detection and repairs are carried out as required.
- Clean and replace filters, belts, coils, and other HVAC components.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company standards.
