Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures across camps and facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of accommodation, kitchens, dining areas, laundries, recreational areas, and common facilities.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and client requirements.
- Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and waste management practices to maintain high standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend improvements.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for staff and residents.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety signage.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address safety related issues promptly.
- Maintain HSE records, reports, permits, and documentation.
- Promote a positive safety culture among employees and camp residents.
Requirements
- Experience in HSE roles within facilities management or camps
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and risk assessment methodologies
- Ability to conduct inspections and incident investigations
- Strong communication and training skills
