- High School or Diploma with minimum 1 year of job related experience or Bachelors degree or equivalent with no job related experience
- 4 years experience in HVAC maintenance and installation
- Awareness of chilled water and packaged units
- Technical knowledge of corrective and preventive maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

About the Role
- The HVAC Technician role is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring and servicing HVAC systems, diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment, installation, running tests and completing reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Under general supervision, diagnoses and repairs systems malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently and providing technical direction and on the job training.
- Ensure full awareness of work health and safety requirements.
- Follow up work instructions and customers' requirements and report injuries, near misses, incidents.
- Adhering to safety procedure and guidelines while on job sites and timely completion of work orders.
About The Candidate
- High School or Diploma with minimum 1 year of job related experience or Bachelors degree or equivalent with no job related experience.
- 4 years experience in the field of HVAC maintenance and installation.
- Awareness of the chilled water and packaged units.
- Preferred with airport experience.
- Technical knowledge related to corrective and preventive maintenance of heating ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration system.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
