Experience
- 10–15+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in oil and gas, energy, power, EPC, engineering, industrial services, maintenance, or shutdown and turnaround environments.
- At least 5 years of experience in an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, HR Lead, or equivalent senior HR position.
- Mandatory experience in an industrial or project-driven organization with exposure to industrial maintenance, plant maintenance, shutdowns, turnarounds, outages, and project operations.
- Experience supporting turnaround and shutdown projects, including rapid manpower ramp-up, workforce mobilization, employee relations, site HR support, and demobilization or redeployment.
- Experience supporting large-scale industrial maintenance and project activities in power, energy, oil and gas, petrochemical, utilities, or similar heavy-industry environments.
- Experience managing permanent employees, project-based employees, contract manpower, skilled trades, technicians, supervisors, engineers, and site-based workforces.
- Ability to manage HR requirements where manpower increases significantly within short project timelines.
- Experience working with operations, project management, site management, and senior leadership to ensure workforce availability and project readiness.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, employee relations, manpower planning, mobilization and demobilization, and HR compliance.
- GCC experience is preferred, with UAE industrial or project experience strongly preferred.
Mandatory Industry and Business Experience
- Previous experience in turnaround and shutdown projects.
- Previous experience in industrial and plant maintenance.
- Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance.
- Previous experience in power plant or energy-sector services.
- Previous experience in oil and gas or petrochemical maintenance.
- Previous experience in major plant outages and maintenance campaigns.
- Previous experience in project mobilization and demobilization.
- Previous experience in large-scale skilled and technical manpower deployment.
- Previous experience in industrial construction and maintenance projects.
- Previous experience in engineering and technical services.
- Previous experience in site-based workforce management.
