- Ensure HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement
- Provide overall HSSE guidance to the project and ensure HSSE management system is established
- Monitor EPC Contractor to ensure project HSSE objectives are met
- Lead PMC HSSE resources and EPC Contractor teams
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve HSSE issues during EPC phase
- Witness HSSE audits conducted by EPC Contractor

- Bachelor's degree in safety, health, environmental, technical, scientific, or related engineering
- Relevant experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
- Experience in preparing HSEIA reports and QRA development

Job Description

Principal Accountabilities
- Ensuring HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement.
- Safe delivery and handover of the Project to the Owner, sustainably, safely, on time, within budget.
- Provides overall guidance from a HSSE perspective to the Project.
- Close monitoring of EPC Contractor to ensure that Project HSSE objectives are met.
- Provides leadership to the PMC HSSE resources, EPC Contractor and their respective teams.
- Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
- Identifying, evaluating, and resolving HSSE issues during the EPC phase.
- Coordination with PMC Construction Engineers during the Construction phase.
- Ensuring that the Project HSSE procedures are established, maintained and implemented by the EPC Contractor.
- Advising the PMC team on questions of HSSE.
- Witnessing HSSE Audits conducted by the EPC Contractor.
- Ensure EPC Contractor's HSSE personnel are appropriately qualified.
Qualifications And Experience
- A bachelor's degree in safety, health, environmental, technical, scientific, or related engineering or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
- Experience in preparing Health, Safety, Environmental Impact (HSEIA) reports and be fully conversant in QRA development.
