About the Role
Worley seeks a Sr Interface Engineer to manage interface activities for oil/gas/petrochemical projects in Abu Dhabi. The role coordinates internal and external stakeholders, oversees technical integration, and ensures timely completion of tie-ins.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and establish regular interface meetings between EPC Contractor and Company
- Lead discussions and coordination with Operations, Material Handling, and Turn around Team for interface activities
- Provide regular updates on Project Interfaces to Process/Commissioning Manager and prepare monthly/weekly reports
- Identify, define, and execute technical/physical internal and external interfaces through EPC phase
- Monitor and control IP Databases for IPs and IQs correspondence/agreements
- Participate in reviewing Project Scope of work, implementing strategies, and execution plans
- Ensure HAZOP of battery limit (interface point) is carried out as per project requirements
- Organize Interface Meetings with internal and external parties for establishing interface point register
- Work closely with EPC Contractor Interface team and other stakeholders
- Follow up on required Interface documentation and feedback from EPC contractor
- Identify key Interfaces between Project and Existing Facilities (Brownfield works) with focus on tie ins during shutdown
- Maintain database and review pre commissioning and commissioning procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 15+ years of professional experience in oil/gas/petrochemical industry
- 5+ years of experience in interface management role in projects
- Experience working with multiple packages for FEED and EPC projects
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Proven skills in brown field and green field projects
- Experience in GCC/ADNOC preferred
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficient in relevant engineering software

Job Purpose
- Sr. Interface Engineer is accountable for overall Interface activities in detail engineering phase at home office and execution of Project Interface activities at site.
- Acts as principal point of contact liaising with internal and external stakeholders for technical inputs and coordination among multiple parties/project packages.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate and establish regular interface meetings between EPC Contractor and Company.
- Lead discussions and coordination with Operations, Material Handling Operations and Turn around Team for execution of interface activities.
- Provide regular updates on Project Interfaces to Process/Commissioning Manager and provide monthly/weekly reports.
- Identify, define, and execute technical/physical internal and external interfaces through EPC phase by establishing Interface Point registers.
- Monitor and control IP Databases for IPs and IQs initiation/correspondence/agreements.
- Participate in reviewing Project Scope of work, implementing strategies, execution plan, Constructing Strategies, etc.
- Ensure HAZOP of battery limit (interface point) is carried out as per project requirements.
- Organize Interface Meetings with internal and external parties for establishing and finalizing interface point register.
- Work closely with EPC Contractor Interface team and other stakeholders.
- Follow up on required Interface documentation and feedback from EPC contractor.

Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor degree holder (Mechanical/Chemical) or equivalent.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Proven skills and experience in brown field and green field projects.
- Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in oil/gas/petrochemical industry.
- 5+ years of experience in interface management role in Projects.
- Experience working with Multiple packages for FEED and EPC Projects.
- 5+ Experience in GCC/ADNOC is preferred.
- Experience in Project execution and knowledge of engineering standards is preferred.
- Promote team working and productive operating climate with multi cultural, multi national workforce.
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
Technical Competencies
- Working knowledge of PFD/P&IDs review, Hazop reviews and 3D Model reviews.
- Expert in technical report writing, technical/coordination procedure and formal technical correspondence.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and development of interface point design parameters.
- Proficient in use of computers and able to work with relevant engineering software.
