Role Overview
Implement and coordinate HSE requirements for subcontractor work areas on a utility-scale solar project.
Coordinate daily HSE matters with project, construction, EPC, main-contractor, and client representatives.
Report functionally to the HSE Manager or HSE Lead and operationally coordinate with project and site management.
HSE Plan and Site Coordination
- Implement the approved Project HSE Plan, procedures, MSRA, PTW requirements, and site HSE rules.
- Ensure activities follow approved Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Permit-to-Work requirements.
- Act as the primary HSE focal point between the subcontractor and EPC or main contractor.
Training and Inspections
- Conduct or monitor toolbox talks, pre-task briefings, safety inductions, and HSE awareness sessions.
- Conduct daily inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
- Monitor HSE compliance for piling, excavation, foundations, PV modules, trackers, cabling, lifting, vehicles, and work at height.
