Job Description

The HSE Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs in Riyadh.

The role supports compliance with Saudi Arabia regulations and international HSE standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Perform safety audits and inspections.
  • Prepare HSE documentation, records, and regulatory reports.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs.
  • Integrate HSE practices into daily operational activities.
  • Monitor safety metrics and identify improvement areas.
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills.
  • Monitor changes in Saudi HSE regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HSE Engineer or in a similar occupational health and safety role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabia labor laws, HSE regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 45001, OSHA, or equivalent international HSE frameworks.
  • Expertise in risk assessment, hazard analysis, and incident investigation.
  • Proficiency in safety management systems, HSE software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, oil and gas, or construction sectors is preferred.
  • Knowledge of environmental management systems and sustainability practices is preferred.
