Job Description
Egis is seeking a detail-oriented HSE Engineer to join its organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role develops, implements, and maintains health, safety, and environmental programs that comply with Saudi regulations and international HSE standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Investigate incidents and accidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform safety audits and inspections and maintain HSE documentation and reports.
- Develop safety training, collaborate with operational teams, and monitor safety performance metrics.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and keep current with applicable regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HSE Engineer or in a similar occupational health and safety management role.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabia labor laws, HSE regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of ISO 45001, OSHA, or equivalent international HSE frameworks.
- Expertise in risk assessment, hazard analysis, and incident investigation.
- Proficiency in safety management systems, HSE software, and Microsoft Office.
- Industrial, manufacturing, oil and gas, or construction experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of environmental management systems and sustainability practices is preferred.
