Responsibilities
- Provide necessary support to the HSE department to execute HSE objectives
- Support HSE Engineer in safety assessments, industrial hygiene monitoring, critical facility reviews, process hazard analysis, incident investigations and preventive actions
- Assist in implementing and maintaining safety guidelines, procedures and policies
- Inspect work area premises for hazardous elements; record and report safety and environmental issues
- Support HSE Engineer in performing safety audits, visits, and environmental assessments
- Assist in conducting Risk Assessments to evaluate HSE hazards and developing mitigation plans
- Collaborate with departmental heads in initiating and implementing safety processes
- Assist with accident management and prevention including investigation of environmental accidents
- Gather and disseminate incident details, near misses, recommendations and trends
- Input and maintain data and statistics related to company wide accidents
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Professional diploma or Certification in Occupational HSE/Process Safety/ Risk Management
- 3 years of experience in HSE
- English language proficiency

- Assist in conducting Risk Assessments to evaluate HSE hazards based on Severity, Likelihood, Exposure and Frequency; and developing mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with departmental heads in initiating and implementing safety processes and measures in work areas.
- Assist with accident management and prevention including investigation of environmental accidents in regard to project site, operations, job tasks and equipment.
- Gather and disseminate incident details, near misses, recommendations and trends.
- Input and maintain data and statistics related to company wide accidents.
