About the Role
Edari is hiring an HR Specialist (Payroll) for a 6-month renewable contract with a large Dubai-based organization. The role requires managing end-to-end payroll operations, benefits administration, and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Independently manage the monthly payroll cycle, ensuring all recurring and non recurring payroll components are accurately processed and validated.
- Review and validate payroll transactions, including new joiners, leavers, salary revisions, unpaid leave, allowances, deductions, overtime, pension, and other payroll related changes.
- Validate payroll costing results and ensure payroll entries are accurately transferred to the finance subledger with the correct cost allocations and accounting codes.
- Process, audit, and reconcile employee benefits and end of service benefits in accordance with company policies and UAE regulations.
- Manage the administration of medical insurance and life insurance benefits, including employee additions, deletions, amendments, and coordination with insurance providers.
- Ensure payroll data integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
- Support payroll reporting, reconciliation activities, and respond to payroll related queries from employees and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline with specialization in Payroll. A Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of payroll experience, with at least 5 years of UAE payroll experience in a similar role.
- Hands on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of UAE payroll legislation, compensation & benefits, payroll accounting, and end of service benefit calculations.
- Experience within Free Zone, Real Estate, Aviation, Telecommunications, Entertainment, or Retail industries is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent command of the English language.

Role Overview
- We are looking to hire an HR Specialist (Payroll) who will be responsible for managing end to end payroll operations, employee benefits administration, and payroll compliance for our client based in Dubai – one of the largest organizations in the region.
- This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 6 months and is renewable based on performance and business needs.
- The role sits within the Human Capital Department and reports directly to the relevant Human Capital Manager.
