About the Role

  • Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our HR System and Administration team as a HR Separations Coordinator to be based in Doha, Qatar.
  • As the HR Separations Coordinator, you will be accountable to successfully coordinate the operations of Separations Department, while ensuring professional, accurate and timely manner services are provided to separated staff and oversee the overall Separation process across QR Group.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Responsible to effectively execute all End of Employment procedures upon receipt of Resignation / Termination including but not limited to: Verifying Notice Period, Last working day, leave records, leave encashment and un paid leave, welcome bonus, Furnishing Allowances, Telephone and Email bill pay
  • Processing acceptance of resignation /end of employment /retirement /absconding / employment certificates getting the authorization from the signatories, ensuring all concerned department are kept informed through copies of letters and emails.
  • Overseeing the update of LWD in the Master files.
  • Processing the clearances and follow ups on pending clearances.
  • Advising the concerned department in case of recoveries /reimbursement that to be included in the full & final settlement.
  • Notifying the concerned bank in order to obtain the Bank clearance.
  • Ensure submission of Travel Request cargo entitlement based on the Higher Management Instruction.
  • Processing Full and Final settlement and advising the finance department.
  • Ensure conclusion of the staff file with legal clearance letter, updating the separations register and ascertaining the staff file is handover to the filing room to close the file.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

  • High school qualification/vocational qualification/diploma or equivalent with minimum 3 years of job related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years of job related experience.
  • Experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong interaction with client area with proven influencing experience.
  • Exposure to HR Systems and interviewing techniques.
  • Excellent Command of English language.
  • Proven ability in demonstrating flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business.
